How much does the Prima Power LASERDYNE 811 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Prima Power LASERDYNE 811 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Prima Power LASERDYNE 811 is a compact multi-axis laser system for welding, drilling and cutting small to medium 3D parts. Travels are X 1,100 mm (43.5 in), Y 800 mm (31.5 in) and Z 600 mm (24 in), and Prima Power calls it the newest addition to the LASERDYNE line.
It is a faster machine than the 795 models, and the table shows by how much. Linear axes exceed 50 m/min, listed as > 50 m/min, with 1.2 g of acceleration on each axis; the LASERDYNE 795 XS is listed at 20 m/min. The BeamDirector turns at 0-135 rpm and accelerates at 87 rads/sec2, with 900 degrees of continuous motion in C and 300 degrees in D (±150° from vertical).
Precision figures are printed asymmetrically, which is worth reading closely. Linear accuracy is +/- 0.012 mm (0.0005 in), while repeatability is 0.025 mm (0.001 in). BeamDirector accuracy is +/- 15 arcsec and its repeatability 15 arcsec. Rotary and tilt axes are options whose speed depends on the model ordered.
The enclosure is laid out for production use. It has a large automated front door and two side doors, and an automated front turntable can be added to speed up small parts. The S94P controller streams system and process parameters over MTConnect and offers SPC data acquisition for quality records. Laser sources are the same as on the larger machines: fiber CW up to 6000 W, or QCW from 6000 W to 23000 W.

X axis 1,100 mm (43.5 in), Y axis 800 mm (31.5 in) and Z axis 600 mm (24 in). The BeamDirector adds 900 degrees of continuous motion in C and 300 degrees in D, which is ±150° from vertical.
02
X, Y and Z are listed at > 50 m/min with 1.2 g acceleration on each axis. The BeamDirector runs at 0-135 rpm with an acceleration of 87 rads/sec2. Rotary and tilt axis speed is variable and depends on the model ordered.
03
X, Y and Z axis accuracy is +/- 0.012 mm (0.0005 in) and repeatability is 0.025 mm (0.001 in). The BeamDirector is accurate to +/- 15 arcsec with 15 arcsec repeatability.
04
It uses MTConnect to stream system and process parameters in real time to the facility or operations management system. It also offers SPC Data Acquisition to support the quality control requirements of the process.
05
The LASERDYNE 795 XS has 1,000 mm of travel on X, Y and Z and moves at 20 m/min. The LASERDYNE 811 has 1,100 mm of X, 800 mm of Y and 600 mm of Z, and is listed at more than 50 m/min. Both take the same range of CW and QCW fiber lasers.
