How much does the LVD PPEB 220/30 Plus cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD PPEB 220/30 Plus that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
LVD says the PPEB can be tailored with an increased table-ram distance and a wider table. The LVD PPEB 220/30 Plus is that tailoring sold as a catalogue model: 2,200 kN and 3,050 mm (120.1 in) with a 570 mm (22.4 in) opening and a 200 mm (7.9 in) table.
The stroke grows too, to 300 mm (11.8 in), and the table rating to 2,500 kN/m. Working height is 1,000 mm (39.4 in) and weight 14,500 kg (31,966 lb). In every one of those rows the PPEB 220/30 is the smaller: a 200 mm stroke, 400 mm of opening, a 120 mm table at 2,000 kN/m, 970 mm and 13,000 kg.
Plate work is the obvious use. But there is a second one that sheet-metal shops overlook, which is tooling freedom. With 570 mm of daylight a machine accepts tall punches for deep boxes, a hemming table under the die, or adapters for another tooling style, and still leaves room to get the part out.
It compares well with LVD's own PPED 260/30, the economy machine with a tall opening. The PPED 260/30 has more daylight, at 670 mm, but works at 10 mm/s and returns at 80 mm/s. This machine works at 21 mm/s and returns at 200 mm/s after a 120 mm/s approach.
The motor is 37 kW with 350 L of oil at 285 bar, and the uprights are 2,600 mm (102.4 in) apart.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The PPEB 220/30 has a 200 mm stroke, 400 mm of open height, a 120 mm table at 2,000 kN/m and weighs 13,000 kg. The Plus has a 300 mm stroke, 570 mm, a 200 mm table at 2,500 kN/m and weighs 14,500 kg.
02
The PPED 260/30 has 2,600 kN and 670 mm of open height on a 22 kW motor, working at 10 mm/s. The Plus has 2,200 kN and 570 mm on a 37 kW motor, working at 21 mm/s.
03
LVD offers a hemming table as a PPEB option, for shops that often make soft or rounded safety edges. The taller opening of the Plus leaves more room above it.
04
Yes: 120 mm/s approach, 21 mm/s working speed and 200 mm/s return, subject to the CE safety limits LVD notes under its tables.
