Overview
The LVD PPEC 220/40 is a four-metre, 2,200 kN press brake from the series LVD supplies to non-CE markets only. Its working length is 4,000 mm (157.5 in), with 3,150 mm (124.0 in) between the uprights.
Among four-metre PPEC machines it holds a particular place: it is the strongest one that keeps the quick hydraulics. The ram approaches at 200 mm/s, works at 14 mm/s and returns at 190 mm/s. The PPEC 250/40, a little stronger, approaches at 100 mm/s and works at 9 mm/s. On batch work the difference in strokes per hour is large.
