Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD PPED 260/30 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
From 2,600 kN upward the PPED becomes a taller machine. The LVD PPED 260/30 has a 300 mm (11.8 in) stroke and 670 mm (26.4 in) between table and ram, where the PPED 200/30 and the sizes below it have 200 mm and 500 mm.
Those two figures open up work the lighter models cannot do well. A longer stroke lets the punch clear a deep flange on the way out. More daylight takes tall punches and high die blocks, and plate work tends to need both. The table matches: 250 mm (9.8 in) wide, enough to seat a wide-opening die.
Working length is 3,050 mm (120.1 in), with 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between the uprights and a 300 mm gap. Working height rises to 1,000 mm (39.4 in). An operator used to the lower bed of the PPED 200/30, at 970 mm, will notice the difference when feeding small parts all day.
A 22 kW motor drives the ram at 90 mm/s on approach, 10 mm/s under load and 80 mm/s on return, with 400 L of oil in the tank. The return figure is lower than on the PPED 200/30, which lists 90 mm/s, and with a longer stroke to travel the cycle is slower on shallow bends unless the stroke is programmed short.
The table load rating does not grow with the frame. It remains 1,000 kN/m.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 300 mm (11.8 in) stroke and 670 mm (26.4 in) open height
- 250 mm (9.8 in) table for wide dies
- 2,600 kN on a 3,050 mm (120.1 in) bed
- 22 kW motor with a 10 mm/s working speed
- CNC crowning standard on PPED-5 and PPED-7 versions
Limitations
- Return speed is 80 mm/s over a longer stroke
- Working height of 1,000 mm (39.4 in) is higher than the 970 mm of the PPED 200/30
- Table load remains 1,000 kN/m
- 400 L of hydraulic oil to fill and maintain

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Stroke goes to 300 mm (11.8 in), the table-to-ram distance to 670 mm (26.4 in), the table to 250 mm (9.8 in) and the working height to 1,000 mm (39.4 in). The motor is 22 kW. The PPED 200/30 below it has a 200 mm stroke, 500 mm of open height and an 18 kW motor.
02
90 mm/s approach, 10 mm/s working and 80 mm/s return. As LVD notes, the working speed is limited to the safety norm in CE countries, where the machine is delivered with a safety system.
03
The PPED 260/40 has the same force, stroke, opening and motor on a 4,000 mm working length with 3,150 mm between the uprights.
04
The hydraulic tank holds 400 L. LVD says the pistons are hardened, precisely finished and micropolished and the components are machined in-house, but gives no service intervals on the page.
