Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD Easy-Form 170/30 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
At 1,700 kN the Easy-Form series changes its power unit, and the LVD Easy-Form 170/30 is the shortest machine to carry the bigger one. It bends 3,050 mm (120.1 in) with a 37 kW motor and a 425 L oil tank.
The result is the quickest strong Easy-Form. Its ram approaches at 180 mm/s and works at 22 mm/s, the same figures as the light models. One force step higher, the Easy-Form 220/30 drops to 120 mm/s and 21 mm/s. Return is 200 mm/s. For a shop bending medium-gauge parts in volume on a three-metre line, this is the size where force and speed are both at hand.
Weight is 11,500 kg (25,353 lb). The frame leaves 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between the uprights with a 400 mm (15.7 in) gap, and the listed configuration has 200 mm (7.9 in) of stroke under 400 mm of open height. LVD offers other combinations of stroke and daylight in steps of 100 mm.
Every Easy-Form measures the angle with laser scanners during the bend and corrects the punch position before the stroke ends. On medium sheet, where a degree of springback difference between batches is ordinary, that removes the trial bend from each set-up. The turbo-hydraulic pump regulates its flow to the demand, which LVD says avoids heating the oil when the ram is holding or lightly loaded.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,700 kN with the 180 mm/s approach and 22 mm/s working speed of the lighter models
- 37 kW motor on a flow-regulating turbo-hydraulic pump
- 11,500 kg (25,353 lb) on a 3,050 mm (120.1 in) bed
- Laser angle correction removes trial bends from set-ups
- Stroke and daylight available in 100 mm steps
Limitations
- 37 kW motor and 425 L of oil for a three-metre machine
- Table is 120 mm (4.7 in) wide; the Plus table starts with the Easy-Form 220/30 Plus
- 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between uprights
- Listed open height of 400 mm (15.7 in)

Frequently Asked Questions
01
No. LVD lists 180 mm/s approach, 22 mm/s working speed and 200 mm/s return, the same as on the Easy-Form 110/30. The speed reduction comes one step later: the Easy-Form 220/30 is listed at 120 mm/s and 21 mm/s.
02
A 37 kW motor and a 425 L tank at 285 bar. That is a clear step from the Easy-Form 135/40 and the other lighter models, which are listed with 22 kW and 250 L.
03
200 mm (7.9 in), with 400 mm (15.7 in) between table and ram. LVD notes that different combinations of stroke and daylight are available in its standard range by steps of +100 mm.
04
The table section that covers this model prints the load row with a different unit from the rest of the page, so no table load figure is given here. Ask LVD for the rating if short, heavy bends are planned.
