Overview
The Litz VH-1600A is a large-format vertical machining center with a 40-taper spindle: 1,600 mm (63.0 in) of X, 900 mm (35.4 in) of Y and 800 mm (31.5 in) of Z over a 1,700 x 850 mm (66.9 x 33.5 in) table. The spindle is direct-drive at 12,000 rpm on BBT-40 tooling.

Large aluminium plates, vacuum chamber components, big mould cavities in the finishing stage: work where the envelope is large but the cutters stay small to medium.
