Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Juaristi TX3-MG20 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
A 20,000 kg (44,092 lb) hydrostatic rotary table is what the Juaristi TX3-MG20 adds to Juaristi's table-type milling centers. It is the mid-size TX frame, with X travel of 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 or 5,000 mm and Y and Z each at 2,000, 2,500 or 3,000 mm.
The load figure is two and a half times that of the TX1-MG8, which carries 8,000 kg, but the heads are identical. That tells you where the extra capacity is meant to go: into part weight and size, with the same cutting data. The frame is built for it; Juaristi states 4 vertical guides for the TX3 and TX7 sizes, and the table sizes start at 1,600×1,600 mm and end at 2,000×2,500 mm.
On a part this heavy the B axis is not quick. B feed is 5 min-1. Plan indexing moves into the cycle and expect contouring with the table to be slow at large radii.
For the spindle, the fixed Type H unit is the strongest listed: 40/59 kW and 1,400/2,125 Nm at S1/S6, 6,000 min-1. The Type D universal head keeps 40/59 kW with 1,300/1,960 Nm and adds indexing to 0.001º. The Type K 5-axis head trades down to 30/35 kW and reaches 18,000 min-1 in its fastest version. All three are on ISO 50, with HSK100 named beside it.
Rapid feeds are 30,000 mm/min in X, Y and Z. Chain tool magazines of 30-160 positions and a robot type of up to 400 positions are listed, as is an automatic head changer.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Rotary table capacity of 20,000 kg (44,092 lb)
- Y and Z travels up to 3,000 mm with X up to 5,000 mm
- 4 vertical guides on the column, as stated by the maker for the TX3 size
- Fixed spindle with 1,400/2,125 Nm at S1/S6, plus universal and 5-axis head types
- Automatic head changer and tool magazines up to 400 positions available
Limitations
- B feed of 5 min-1 is slower than the 8 min-1 of the TX1-MG8
- Spindle power and torque are the same as on the TX1-MG8 despite the larger frame
- No listed torque above 2,125 Nm, and there is no boring bar in this table
- A W feed row is printed without a W travel

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Maximum load is 20,000 kg (44,092 lb). The B-axis hydrostatic rotary table is listed in four sizes, 1,600×1,600, 1,600×2,000, 2,000×2,000 and 2,000×2,500 mm, and Juaristi describes it as driven by a double pinion to remove backlash.
02
X, the cross travel of the table, is 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 or 5,000 mm. Y, the vertical head travel, and Z, the longitudinal column travel, are each 2,000, 2,500 or 3,000 mm (78.7-98.4-118.1 in).
03
The table gives the data to decide. Type H, the fixed spindle, has the highest torque at 1,400/2,125 Nm. Type D adds 3+2 indexing with 1,300/1,960 Nm. Type K is a continuous 5-axis head at 30/35 kW with speeds of 6,000/10,000/18,000 min-1. Juaristi also lists an automatic head changer, so more than one head can serve the same machine.

Not in this version. The TX3-MG20 described here is the milling center of Juaristi's TX Series, with milling heads and no boring bar row. Juaristi's TX-S series uses the same size code for a milling-boring center with a boring bar, so check which series a quotation refers to.
