Overview
The Jainnher JHU-2710CNC is a CNC universal cylindrical grinder with a 270 mm (10.6 in) swing and a 1,000 mm (39.4 in) grinding length. It sits one step up from the JHU-2706CNC, and the step is bigger than the extra bed length suggests.
Job weight is the first change. The JHU-2706CNC is limited to 70 kg (154 lb) between centers. This one carries 130 kg (287 lb), the figure Jainnher gives for every longer bed as well. The second is support: a 2-point center rest joins the standard accessories from the 1 m size upward, so a slender shaft can be steadied without ordering extras.
A metre between centers with a 250 mm (9.8 in) grinding diameter covers most general shaft work, including motor shafts, spindles, rolls and hydraulic rods. The table swivels 9° counter-clockwise and 5° clockwise for tapers, and the work head turns at 11 to 500 rpm on 60 Hz supply or 9 to 420 rpm on 50 Hz.
Jainnher builds the wheel head around a spindle carried in two hydrodynamic bearings with five-point support. If lubrication fails, the spindle stops automatically. The wheel head has 175 mm (6.9 in) of travel, a 0.001 mm setting unit and a maximum feed rate of 6 m/min (236 ipm).
