Overview
The Jainnher JHA-3508CNC is a long-bed CNC angular cylindrical grinder: 1,000 mm (39.4 in) between centers, 820 mm (32.3 in) of grinding length and 350 mm (13.8 in) of swing. It is the machine in the JHA range for shafts with several shoulders along their length.
Think of a gearbox shaft with four bearing seats, each against a face. On a plunge grinder that is eight operations, or four with side-wheel grinding and its risk of burn. With a 60° wheel head each seat and its shoulder come off together, and the table simply indexes from one to the next. Jainnher's cycle list names this directly as multi-step angular and traverse grinding. Table travel is 900 mm (35.4 in).
Positioning along the shaft is what makes that work. A touch probe gauge is standard and measures where the reference face is, so each shoulder is ground to a length from it.
