Overview
The Jainnher JHI-150BCNC is the B-axis version of Jainnher's small CNC internal grinder. It keeps the 6 to 150 mm (0.2 to 5.9 in) bore range and 150 mm (5.9 in) grinding depth of the JHI-150CNC and adds a rotary table that swivels ±15° under program control, in steps of 0.001°.
That changes how tapers are made. On the plain machine the work head is swivelled and clamped by hand. Here the angle is an axis, so a part with a straight bore and a tapered seat can be finished in one chucking, and the angle can be corrected from the control after measuring. The table carries a 1.2 kW (1.6 hp) AC servo motor and turns at 0 to 20 rpm.
The second difference is the wheel spindle. Jainnher lists a build-in type spindle of 7.5 kW / 10 HP in place of a belt-driven motor. The X axis is slower than on the JHI-150CNC, with a rapid of 5 m/min (197 ipm), while Z keeps 8 m/min (315 ipm). Strokes are 100 mm (3.9 in) in X and 450 mm (17.7 in) in Z, and the work head runs from 10 to 1,000 rpm on an A2-5 nose or an optional cylindrical one.
