Overview
The Huron KXG 90-23 is the longest gantry in Huron's list, with 9,000 mm (354.3 in) of X travel and a fixed table of 9,000 x 2,480 mm. The table is rated for 52,000 kg (114,640 lb), more than twice the figure for the KXG 60-23.
The machine itself weighs 120,000 kg (264,550 lb). Its installation is laid out differently from the smaller KXG models: the long dimension is listed as width, 15,000 mm, with a depth of 8,200 mm and a height of 5,000 mm. A hall bay of that size, a dedicated foundation and crane access through the retractable roof are the entry conditions.
