From the HNK HPF-30M (30x60) upward, the multi-purpose fixed-rail series uses a 400 x 400 mm (15.7 x 15.7 in) ram with 1,000 mm (39.4 in) of travel, 1,200 mm (47.2 in) in braces. The table is 3,000 x 6,000 mm (118.1 x 236.2 in).
Note the figure in braces. It equals the maximum distance from table surface to spindle end, also 1,200 mm. If that longer stroke is fitted, the ram can bring the spindle from its highest position right down to the table, so even a thin plate is reachable without packing. With the first figure, the lowest part of the range needs risers under the work or a long tool.
The table is rated at 40,000 kg (88,183 lb). Columns are 4,000 mm (157.5 in) apart and Y travel is 5,000 mm (196.9 in). X travel is 6,250 mm (246.1 in), a little more than the table length.
