Overview
The HNK HPM-25H (25x50) is the only five-metre table in the die and mold series. At 2,500 x 5,000 mm (98.4 x 196.9 in), with 5,250 mm (206.7 in) of X, it falls between the four- and six-metre machines that make up most of the range.
That in-between length is practical. A 2,500 mm wide table takes the outer-panel dies that the 2,000 mm sizes cannot, and five metres of length covers a hood, roof or floor-pan die with room left over for clamps. Table load is 20,000 kg (44,092 lb).
Between the columns there is 3,200 mm (126.0 in). Y travel is 4,200 mm (165.4 in), a full metre more, which leaves the head space to move off the table edge. Under the spindle the figure is 1,800 mm (70.9 in), with 2,000 mm (78.7 in) in braces, reached through 1,200 mm (47.2 in) of crossrail travel and 800 mm (31.5 in) of ram.
