The HNK HKDB-130F(1.1Mx16M) combines the 16,000 mm (629.9 in) column travel of HNK's longest duplex boring machines with the 1.1M cross-section: a fixed table of 1,100 x 16,000 mm (43.3 x 629.9 in), 600 mm (23.6 in) of Z travel per head and a spindle gap of 200 to 1,400 mm (7.9 to 55.1 in).
Compared with the narrower HKDB-130F(1Mx16M), it gains a little table width, maximum gap and Z travel. The steps are small, but on a part such as a bridge-crane end carriage, a wagon bogie frame or a ship-engine camshaft housing they decide whether the widest section passes between the spindle noses with tools fitted.
Both Ø130 mm (5.1 in) spindles run 5 to 2,500 rpm on ISO No.50 with 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) motors, cont/30min. The columns move simultaneously or independently, as HNK puts it, and the maker links the long fixed-table stroke to shorter set-up times. Vertical travel is 2,000 mm (78.7 in) from table level.
