Overview
The Hedelius TILTENTA 11-2600 brings 1,100 mm (43.3 in) of Y travel to the swivel-spindle TILTENTA line. It is a 4/5-axis travelling column machining centre with 2,600 mm of vertical X travel, a Z travel of 900 / 1,005 mm (vertical / horizontal), and an integrated NC rotary table whose faceplate measures Ø 1,140 mm.
Wide Y and a large faceplate belong together. A rotary table is only as useful as the travel around it, and here a part filling the 1,450 mm interference circle can still be reached across its width. The rotary table carries 1,800 kg, or 2,200 kg as an option, turns at 8 min-1 and holds with 12,000 Nm. Hedelius applies its crossover idea to this model as well: long workpieces on the fixed table, 5-side complete processing on the rotary table, both in one machine.
The fixed table measures 3,080 x 1,100 mm with nine 18 mm T-slots at 125 mm spacing, for 4,000 kg (8,818 lb). X travel with the spindle horizontal is 2,030 mm. The head swivels from -98° to +98° around a 285 mm centre of rotation, with 2,500 Nm clamped.
Unlike the TILTENTA 10 with its SK50 spindle, this series uses 40-size spindles and gains a faster tool changer with 65 places as standard, at ca. 13 s chip to chip. Four spindles are listed, from 22 kW at 14,000 rpm in SK40 / BT40 to 50 kW with 217 Nm at 15,000 rpm in HSK A63, with an 18,000 rpm, 35 kW unit between. Feed force is 27,000 N. The machine weighs 20,500 kg (45,194 lb).
