Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Han's Laser HBS0615 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Han's Laser HBS0615 is the smallest electro-hydraulic servo press brake in the HBS series: 600 kN of press force over a maximum bending width of 1,500 mm (59.1 in). It is a short-bed machine for small parts, the brackets, covers and enclosure panels that make up most of the pieces leaving a laser cutter.
Short beds have a practical advantage that the force figure hides. With only 1,200 mm (47.2 in) between the uprights, the frame is stiff for its size and the operator stands close to every part of the tooling. The trade is obvious: anything longer than the bed cannot be bent in one hit, and parts wider than the gap between uprights cannot pass back through the frame beyond the 350 mm (13.8 in) throat depth.
The ram comes down at 160 mm/s, bends at 20 mm/s and returns at 200 mm/s. Its 8.5 kW (11.4 hp) motor draws from an oil tank of just 80 L, which Han's Laser splits and builds in stainless steel. Closed height is 485 mm (19.1 in).
Control is an IFT CNC system with a capacitive touch screen and support for programming from imported 3D models. Crowning is mechanical and adjustable in both directions. The machine stands 2,350 × 1,400 × 2,611 mm (92.5 × 55.1 × 102.8 in). The table does not give the machine weight, the backgauge travel or the number of controlled axes, so those need to come with the quotation.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Compact 2,350 × 1,400 × 2,611 mm (92.5 × 55.1 × 102.8 in) footprint
- Working speed of 20 mm/s, the highest in the HBS table
- Small 80 L oil tank in split stainless steel
- IFT CNC system with capacitive touch screen and 3D model import programming
Limitations
- Bending width is limited to 1,500 mm (59.1 in)
- 600 kN is the lowest press force in the series
- Fast down speed of 160 mm/s is slower than the 180 mm/s of the HBS0620

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Press force is 600 kN and the maximum bending width 1,500 mm (59.1 in). The distance between uprights is 1,200 mm (47.2 in), the throat depth 350 mm (13.8 in) and the closed height 485 mm (19.1 in).

03
Han's Laser lists an IFT CNC system with a capacitive touch screen, multi-axis control capability and 3D model import programming support. The table does not say how many axes are fitted as standard.
04
The motor power is 8.5 kW (11.4 hp) and the oil tank capacity 80 L. The larger HBS machines from the HBS1131 upward use a 200 L tank, so this is the lighter installation.
