Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Han's Laser HBS1131 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Han's Laser HBS1131 pairs 1,100 kN of press force with a 3,100 mm (122.0 in) bending width, the classic general-purpose press brake size. A three-metre sheet goes in whole, and there is enough force for ordinary structural and enclosure work in mild steel.
It is also the fastest-approaching machine in the HBS table. Fast down speed is 220 mm/s, a figure shared only with the longer HBS1141. Working speed is 17 mm/s and return speed 200 mm/s. On parts with many bends the approach and return strokes add up to most of the cycle, so these numbers count for more than they seem to.
From this model upward the HBS frame changes class. Throat depth becomes 410 mm (16.1 in) instead of the 350 mm (13.8 in) of the 600 kN HBS0625, the oil tank grows to 200 L and the motor to 13 kW (17.4 hp). Closed height is 525 mm (20.7 in). The uprights are 2,700 mm (106.3 in) apart, so a part up to that width can be fed through the frame to any depth.
Han's Laser lists an enlarged open height, throat depth, ram stroke and backgauge stroke as features of the series, and an IFT CNC system with multi-axis capability. Mechanical crowning is fitted. Floor space needed is 3,588 × 1,683 × 2,517 mm (141.3 × 66.3 × 99.1 in). Backgauge travel and machine weight are not in the table.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Fast down speed of 220 mm/s, the highest in the HBS series
- 3,100 mm (122.0 in) bending width with 2,700 mm (106.3 in) between uprights
- Throat depth of 410 mm (16.1 in)
- 13 kW (17.4 hp) motor for 1,100 kN
Limitations
- Working speed of 17 mm/s is below the 20 mm/s of the 600 kN HBS0625
- 1,100 kN limits full-length bends in thicker plate; the HBS1631 has 1,600 kN on the same bed
- Backgauge data and weight are not published

Frequently Asked Questions
01
1,100 kN press force, 3,100 mm (122.0 in) maximum bending width, 2,700 mm (106.3 in) between uprights, 410 mm (16.1 in) throat depth and 525 mm (20.7 in) closed height. The motor is 13 kW (17.4 hp) and the oil tank holds 200 L.
02
The ram approaches at 220 mm/s, works at 17 mm/s and returns at 200 mm/s. The HBS1631, with 1,600 kN on the same bed and the same motor, is listed at 190 mm/s, 14 mm/s and 180 mm/s.
03
Overall dimensions are 3,588 × 1,683 × 2,517 mm (141.3 × 66.3 × 99.1 in) as length, width and height. Leave room at the front for the sheet to swing and at the rear for the backgauge, which the table does not dimension.
04
Han's Laser lists bidirectionally adjustable mechanical compensation for the series, intended to keep the bend straight over the full length. On a 3,100 mm (122.0 in) bed that is the feature that evens out the angle between the middle and the ends.
