Han's Laser HBS1141 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Han's Laser HBS1141 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Han's Laser or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Han's Laser HBS1141 is a four-metre press brake with a light touch: 4,100 mm (161.4 in) of bending width and 1,100 kN of press force. Among the 4,100 mm machines in the HBS series it has the least force, and it is the quickest.

Long and light is a specific job description. Think of lighting columns in thin wall, roofing and facade profiles, long cable trays, or elevator door skins. The part is long, the material thin, and what the shop needs is a bed that takes it in one piece. A heavier machine would do the same bends more slowly.

The speed figures bear that out. Fast down is 220 mm/s and return is 220 mm/s as well, the only model in the table to return that fast. Working speed is 17 mm/s. A 13 kW (17.4 hp) motor and a 200 L tank supply the hydraulics.

Between the uprights there is 3,700 mm (145.7 in), with 410 mm (16.1 in) of throat and a closed height of 525 mm (20.7 in). At this length the ends of the ram deflect less than the middle under load, which is why the mechanical compensation in the bed matters; Han's Laser makes it adjustable in both directions. The frame is checked by finite element analysis and stress relieved.

The machine is 4,598 × 1,665 × 2,587 mm (181.0 × 65.6 × 101.9 in) overall. Handling a four-metre sheet safely usually takes two people or sheet followers, and the table lists neither followers nor the backgauge.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 4,100 mm (161.4 in) bending width
  • Return speed of 220 mm/s, the fastest in the HBS table, with a 220 mm/s approach
  • 3,700 mm (145.7 in) between uprights
  • Only 13 kW (17.4 hp) of motor power for a four-metre bed

Limitations

  • 1,100 kN is the lowest press force among the 4,100 mm models
  • Closed height of 525 mm (20.7 in), below the 575 mm (22.6 in) of the HBS2341
  • No sheet follower or backgauge details in the table

Best For

Long thin-gauge profiles and panels up to 4,100 mm (161.4 in) Elevator, facade and cable tray parts Shops that want four-metre capacity without a heavy machine

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What is the capacity of the Han's Laser HBS1141?

1,100 kN of press force over a maximum bending width of 4,100 mm (161.4 in). Distance between uprights is 3,700 mm (145.7 in), throat depth 410 mm (16.1 in) and closed height 525 mm (20.7 in).

02 How does it compare with the HBS1641?

Same bed, less force, more speed. The HBS1641 delivers 1,600 kN and is listed at 190 mm/s fast down, 14 mm/s working and 170 mm/s return. The HBS1141 gives 1,100 kN at 220 mm/s, 17 mm/s and 220 mm/s. Both use a 13 kW (17.4 hp) motor.

03 What are the machine dimensions?

4,598 × 1,665 × 2,587 mm (181.0 × 65.6 × 101.9 in), length by width by height. The machine weight is not in the published table.

04 What control and programming does it offer?

An IFT CNC system with a capacitive touch screen. Han's Laser states multi-axis control capability and support for programming from imported 3D models, without listing the axes supplied as standard.
