Overview
The Haco OptiForm 30150+ is a hydraulic CNC press brake with 1,500 kN of press force over a bending length of 3,100 mm (122.0 in). It is the better-equipped of two preconfigured OptiForm machines, and what the plus sign buys is a 4-axis X-R-Z1-Z2 backgauge and CNC crowning. The plain OptiForm 30150 has a 2-axis X-R backgauge and manual crowning.
Both additions cut setup rather than add force. With Z1 and Z2 the two backgauge fingers move independently along the bed at 1,000 mm/s, so a part can be bent at several tool stations without the operator shifting fingers by hand. CNC crowning sets the table compensation from the material, thickness and length entered at the control. The backgauge reaches 600 mm (23.6 in) in X, with a maximum gauging distance of 1,000 mm (39.4 in), and 200 mm (7.9 in) in R.
Between the side plates there is 2,600 mm (102.4 in), so a part longer than that can only be bent as deep as the 400 mm (15.7 in) throat gap. Maximum open height is 480 mm (18.9 in), or 380 mm (15.0 in) effective with the 100 mm ES intermediate, and the Y axis strokes 200 mm (7.9 in). The beam comes down at 180 mm/s, works at 10 mm/s and returns at 125 mm/s.
The control is Haco's own EASYBEND on an 18.5” multi-touch screen. Top tooling is held in an ES Quick Clamp or, for the U.S., a Universal Fast Clamp that takes both US and European style tools. A safety laser at the tool tip, side doors and an air-conditioned electrical cabinet are part of the machine. It weighs 8,300 kg (18,298 lb), runs on a 15 kW (20.1 hp) main motor and is 3,795 mm (149.4 in) wide. Haco builds it in one size only and delivers it from stock.
