Overview

The Haas VR-8 is a 5-axis vertical machining center with 64 × 40 × 42 in (1,626 × 1,016 × 1,067 mm) of linear travel, a B axis of ±120° and a C axis of ±245°. Its HSK-A63 integral motor spindle is rated 29 hp (21.6 kW) and 20,000 rpm. The starting price Haas lists is US$418,995.
