How much does the Goodway GTH-2000 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Goodway GTH-2000 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Goodway's GTH-2000 applies the parallel twin-spindle, gantry-loaded layout of the GTH series to 10 in chuck work. It turns Ø300 mm (11.8 in) and 205 mm (8.1 in) long on each of two side-by-side spindles with A2-6 noses.
The jump in turning length matters more than the jump in diameter. The GTH-1500 is limited to 80 mm (3.1 in), which restricts it to thin discs. At 205 mm the GTH-2000 can take hubs, housings and short stepped parts as well.
Each spindle is rated 11 kW (14.8 hp) continuous and 15 kW (20.1 hp) for 30 min. as standard, with a 24 ~ 4,000 rpm range. For heavier cuts an 18.5 kW (24.8 hp) continuous, 22 kW (29.5 hp) 30 min. motor is optional, and so is a 24 ~ 4,500 rpm range. Goodway says the spindles are driven by FANUC motors.
Automation is part of the base machine. The gantry robotic arm is listed as standard, and the builder describes automatic loading, front and rear cutting, unloading and workpiece detection as one coordinated process. Feeding stations come in disc and shaft types. Chips leave through a rear-exit conveyor, which keeps the front and sides free when machines are lined up.
A 12-station servo turret serves each spindle. Buyers who need driven tools choose the M variation: a 12-station live tooling turret, or optionally a 16-station one, at 6,000 rpm, plus a Cf-type C-axis.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 205 mm (8.1 in) of turning length, far more than the 80 mm (3.1 in) of the GTH-1500
- 11 kW (14.8 hp) continuous per spindle, with 18.5 kW (24.8 hp) optional
- Gantry robotic arm as standard
- Optional 16-station live tooling turret at 6,000 rpm
- Rear-exit chip conveyor for close line layouts
Limitations
- Standard top speed is 4,000 rpm
- Turning diameter is Ø300 mm (11.8 in), small for a 10 in chuck
- No bar capacity or tailstock is listed, so it is a chucking machine only
- Live tooling and C-axis require the M variation

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Maximum turning diameter is Ø300 mm (11.8 in) and maximum turning length 205 mm (8.1 in), with a 10 in chuck on an A2-6 spindle nose. Both parallel spindles have the same figures.
02
The GTH-1500 has 6 in or 8 in chucks, turns Ø240 mm (9.4 in) and 80 mm (3.1 in) long, and has a 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) continuous standard motor. The GTH-2000 has a 10 in chuck, turns Ø300 mm (11.8 in) and 205 mm (8.1 in) long, and starts at 11 kW (14.8 hp) continuous.
03
Standard is 11 kW (14.8 hp) continuous and 15 kW (20.1 hp) for 30 min. The optional motor is 18.5 kW (24.8 hp) continuous and 22 kW (29.5 hp) for 30 min. Speed range is 24 ~ 4,000 rpm, with 24 ~ 4,500 rpm as an option.
04
Yes. Goodway states that it integrates with multiple GTH series machines or other machining equipment, and that single and twin spindle models, a workpiece flipping device and the gantry robot arm can be configured into a line.
