Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Feeler UB-660 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Unlike the table-tilting machines in Feeler's U series, the UB-660 tilts the spindle. It is a moving column 5-axis machining center with a tilting head, a φ660 mm rotary C axis set into a fixed table area of 1,450 x 700 mm, and 1,250 mm (49.2 in) of X travel.
This layout changes what the machine can hold. Maximum load is listed as 1,500 kg, or 1,000 kg on the C axis, far beyond the trunnion machines of the series, because the workpiece never tilts. Long parts can lie on the fixed table for 3+2 work with the head, and round or multi-face parts go on the rotary section. Feeler calls it a multi-functional table and says the combination allows complex multi-face machining in a single setup while saving space.
The head swings ±110°. Z travel is given as 820/950 mm with the note V/H, that is, different strokes with the spindle vertical and horizontal. Y travel is 800 mm (31.5 in). All three linear axes rapid at 50 m/min (1,969 ipm), the fastest figure in the U series, which is typical of moving-column designs where the table mass stays still.
The spindle is a 12,000 rpm unit marked Builtin, that is, a motor spindle, with a 7/24 No.40 taper. Tool capacity is 40-50. Feeler describes the structure as a moving column on an integrated base with high-low rails for stability and load capacity. Head clamping torque and spindle power are not on the page.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Tilting head with ±110° range, so heavy parts stay flat on the table
- Load of 1,500 kg on the table, 1,000 kg on the C axis
- 1,250 mm (49.2 in) of X travel and 800 mm of Y
- 50 m/min (1,969 ipm) rapids on X, Y and Z
- 12,000 rpm built-in spindle and 40-50 tools
Limitations
- A tilting head carries the spindle on a rotary joint, so head rigidity is the thing to verify for heavy cuts
- Rotary table is φ660 mm; larger round parts cannot be indexed
- Z travel differs between vertical and horizontal spindle positions
- No head torque, rotary speed or spindle power is published

Frequently Asked Questions
01
With a tilting head and a rotary table. Feeler's table lists a head (B) range of ±110° and a C axis of 0~360°, and the text says the tilting head and multi-functional table allow complex multi-face machining in a single setup.
02
Feeler prints the table as φ660 with 1,450 x 700 in brackets. Read with the load row, 1,500 kg and C Axis 1,000 kg, it describes a φ660 mm rotary table within a 1,450 x 700 mm table surface.
03
X is 1,250 mm (49.2 in) and Y is 800 mm (31.5 in). Z is listed as 820/950 mm (V/H), which gives different strokes for the vertical and horizontal head positions. Rapid traverse is 50 m/min (1,969 ipm) on all three.
04
A 12,000 rpm spindle with a 7/24 Taper No.40, marked Builtin in the table. Tool capacity is listed as 40-50. Power and torque figures are not published on the series page.
