Overview
With the Ermak Fibermak SL 6x2 the side loading laser moves to long sheet. The cutting area is 6,150 x 2,000 mm (242.1 x 78.7 in), and the loading arrangement changes with it: the table lists an automatic single pallet, not the two exchange pallets of the shorter models.
A single pallet changes the rhythm of the work. The machine cuts, the pallet comes out, parts are removed and a new sheet goes on. There is no second pallet being prepared in the meantime. For long plate parts with long cutting times that is rarely a loss, but for thin sheet it reduces beam-on time.
