Overview
With one open table of 4,065 x 2,035 mm (160.0 x 80.1 in), the Yawei HLA-2040 is the four-metre member of Yawei's single-table HLA laser series. Laser power is 3 or 6 kW and trajectory speed 140 m/min.
The case for it is footprint. Its layout is 6,000 x 4,400 x 2,000 mm (236.2 x 173.2 x 78.7 in). The enclosed HLB-2040, which cuts the same range, needs 11,000 x 5,000 x 2,300 mm (433.1 x 196.9 x 90.6 in). Roughly half the length is saved by leaving out the exchange table.
What goes with the table is throughput. On a single-table machine the laser waits while the operator clears parts and loads the next sheet, so the HLA suits work where that pause is acceptable: short runs, mixed jobs, or a shop where one person runs the laser and something else.
The worktable load equals that of the HLB-2040 at 1,500 kg (3,307 lb). Z stroke is 120 mm (4.7 in). Strokes in X and Y are 4,085 mm (160.8 in) and 2,055 mm (80.9 in).
