Overview
The Ermak ETP 1250x2500 is a 20 Ton hydraulic turret punch press for sheets of 2,500 x 1,250 mm (98.4 x 49.2 in). It is the larger of the two 1,250 mm models, which form the lighter and quicker half of Ermak's ETP range.
The narrower Y axis is the starting point. Y travel is 1,250 mm, enough for the standard 2,500 x 1,250 mm sheet and no more. Around it Ermak fits a 27-station turret and a smaller hydraulic unit: a 7.5 kW (10.1 hp) motor with 180 lt of oil.
Less mass to move means faster axes. X and Y each run at 120 m/min, 170 m/min combined, and the turret turns at 27 rpm. The punch rate when marking is 1,500 strokes/min. At a 25 mm step the rate is 350 strokes/min.
A sheet may weigh up to 147 kg (324 lb). Ram stroke is 40 mm, and the maximum punch diameter is 88.9 mm (3.5 in) in 1 mm sheet.
The frame is shorter than on the 1,500 mm models, at 5,140 mm long, and weighs 15,500 kg (34,171 lb). Width is 5,000 mm. Power supply is 25 kW (33.5 hp) and the control a GE Fanuc 31i-PB with Ermaksan HMI software.
