Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Yawei HPC-2044 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Yawei HPC-2044 is the smallest and lightest turret punch press in Yawei's range: 196 kN, a 1,250 x 2,500 mm (49.2 x 98.4 in) sheet, and a machine weight of 12,500 kg (27,557 lb).
It is an entry machine in the literal sense. A workshop moving from manual punching or outsourced laser parts to its own CNC punching needs standard sheet capacity, a servo ram and a usable turret, and this model supplies those three things and little else. The turret has 38 standard die positions. The ram punches at up to 2,000 cpm.
Floor needs are modest for a turret punch. The frame is 5,530 mm (217.7 in) long, 2,300 mm (90.6 in) wide and 2,260 mm (89.0 in) high. Air at 0.6 MPa and 6.1 kW (8.2 hp) of working power complete the services.
Know the limits before buying. Sheet longer than 2,500 mm does not fit, even with repositioning. Force is the lower of Yawei's two ratings, so the largest punch, Φ88.9 mm (3.5 in), cannot be driven through the thickest listed sheet, 6.35 mm (0.25 in) of carbon steel; the HPC-3044 offers 294 kN in the same outline for that. And the table counts 5 control axes without naming them or the control.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The HPC-2044, at 12,500 kg (27,557 lb) with a nominal force of 196 kN. Its maximum processing plate size is 1,250 x 2,500 mm (49.2 x 98.4 in) including one repositioning.
02
Overall dimensions are 5,530 mm (217.7 in) in length, 2,300 mm (90.6 in) in width and 2,260 mm (89.0 in) in height.
03
The table lists carbon steel plate to 6.35 mm (0.25 in) and stainless steel plate to 4 mm (0.16 in), with a maximum punch diameter of Φ88.9 mm (3.5 in). At 196 kN the largest punch and the thickest sheet cannot be combined.
