Overview
Thirty Ton, 33 stations and a 2,500 x 1,500 mm (98.4 x 59.1 in) sheet: the Ermak ETP 1500x2500 is the mid-size hydraulic turret punch press in Ermak's ETP line, and the smaller of the two models with the full-size press.
A 2,500 mm X axis fits the most common sheet length, and it trims the machine considerably. Width is 5,000 mm and weight 18,500 kg (40,785 lb). Three clamps are fitted, and the table is rated for 200 kg (441 lb).
Ermak notes a distortion prevention system for machines with an axis length of 2500 mm, which stops distortion and vibration on the ball screw. All axes are driven by Fanuc servo motors through absolute ball screws.
Hydraulics are close to those of the larger model: an 11 kW (14.8 hp) motor and an oil capacity of 280 lt. The stroke unit is the Voith Turbo H + L. The punch rate for marking is 1,200 strokes/min, with 900 strokes/min at a 1 mm step and 600 strokes/min at a 25 mm step.
The turret rotates at 20 rpm and carries three auto-index stations in the D size, so even large shaped tools can be turned to any angle. Index positioning accuracy is 0.01°.
