Overview

The Durma AD-Servo 30220 marks the point where the hybrid series moves to its larger drive. It delivers 220 ton over 3,050 mm (120.1 in) with motor power of 11 x 2 kW and an oil supply of 80 x 2 L, one servo pump unit for each cylinder.

The larger drive shows in the working speed. At 12 mm/sec this model bends faster than any other AD-Servo in Durma's table; the AD-Servo 30135 and AD-Servo 30175 work at 10 mm/sec. Rapid approach is 200 mm/sec and return 180 mm/sec. On thick material, where the pressing phase takes most of the stroke time, that extra working speed is worth more than a fast approach.

220 ton is also a threshold in the options list. Durma notes that motorized height adjustment for the AP3-AP4 automatic sheet follower is available on machines with a capacity of 220 tons and above. Large, heavy blanks that would otherwise need two operators can then be supported through the bend.

Frame figures stay with the three-metre family: 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between columns, 450 mm (17.7 in) of throat, 265 mm (10.4 in) of stroke, 530 mm (20.9 in) of daylight. The table is 104 mm (4.1 in) narrow or 180 mm (7.1 in) wide. Height rises to 3,000 mm (118.1 in) and weight to 12,600 kg (27,778 lb).

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Working speed of 12 mm/sec, the highest in the AD-Servo table
  • 220 ton over 3,050 mm (120.1 in) with 11 x 2 kW servo pump drives
  • Qualifies for motorized height adjustment on the optional AP3-AP4 sheet follower
  • 200 mm/sec rapid speed and 180 mm/sec return speed
  • SKY 22 control, X-R back gauge and CNC crowning are standard

Limitations

  • Stroke stays at 265 mm (10.4 in) and daylight at 530 mm (20.9 in)
  • Needs 3,000 mm (118.1 in) of headroom for the machine itself
  • The sheet follower is an option, not part of the standard machine
06

Best For

Plate and thicker sheet bent over lengths up to 3,050 mm (120.1 in) Heavy blanks handled with a sheet follower Production where pressing time dominates the cycle

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What are the speeds of the AD-Servo 30220?

Y rapid speed is 200 mm/sec, Y working speed 12 mm/sec and Y return speed 180 mm/sec. The back gauge X axis works at 500 mm/sec and the R axis at 350 mm/sec.

02 What drive does the AD-Servo 30220 use?

The table lists motor power as 11 x 2 kW and oil tank capacity as 80 x 2 L. The series is built around servomotors driving hydromotor-pumps, which Durma describes as variable-speed pump drives that save energy depending on the cycle.

03 How does the AD-Servo 30220 differ from the AD-Servo 30320?

The AD-Servo 30320 has 320 ton, a 365 mm (14.4 in) stroke and 630 mm (24.8 in) of daylight, and weighs 17,100 kg (37,698 lb). The AD-Servo 30220 is quicker, with a 200 mm/sec approach against 160 mm/sec on the AD-Servo 30320, and weighs 12,600 kg (27,778 lb).

04 How big is the AD-Servo 30220?

It is 4,250 mm (167.3 in) long, 1,770 mm (69.7 in) wide and 3,000 mm (118.1 in) high, with an approximate weight of 12,600 kg (27,778 lb). The table is 900 mm (35.4 in) high.
