Dener TMC 1000 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Dener TMC 1000 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Dener or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

One metre of X travel on the compact frame: the Dener TMC 1000 is a BBT 40 vertical machining center with travels of 1,000 mm (39.4 in), 510 mm and 560 mm. It shares its Y and Z travels with the TMC 850 and adds length only.

That makes the choice between the two simple. If the parts are long and narrow, such as rails, bars, manifolds or a row of vises, this is the right table: 1,200 x 500 mm. If they are wider, the TMC 1200 is the next step, with 600 mm of Y.

Nothing else in the listed data separates it from the smaller model. The table load is 500 kg (1,102 lb). The spindle turns 10,000 rpm on a motor listed at 7.5/18 kW and 47.7/115 Nm, and the rapid traverse is 36 m/min in all axes.

Bear the table load in mind on a long table. 500 kg spread over 1,200 mm is quickly used up by a pair of heavy vises, a fixture plate and the workpiece.

Dener supplies the machine fully enclosed with a steel belt chip conveyor, automatic lubrication, an in-cabin chip washdown system and a 24-tool changer. Control is Mitsubishi M80A-8A, or FANUC 0i MF as an option.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 1,000 mm X travel and a 1,200 x 500 mm table
  • Same 560 mm Z travel as the smaller model
  • 36 m/min rapids and a 10,000 rpm BBT 40 spindle
  • Enclosure, chip conveyor and 24-tool ATC included

Limitations

  • Y travel remains 510 mm, as on the TMC 850
  • 500 kg (1,102 lb) table load on a longer table
  • The specification table gives no usable cutting feed figure for this size
  • FANUC control and through-tool coolant are options

Best For

Long, narrow parts and multi-vise setups Plates and bars up to one metre Shops that need more X than a small VMC without a larger footprint in Y

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How does the Dener TMC 1000 differ from the TMC 850?

In X travel and table length. The TMC 850 has 850 mm of X and a 1,000 x 500 mm table; the TMC 1000 has 1,000 mm and a 1,200 x 500 mm table. Y, Z, spindle and table load are the same.

02 What is the table load of the TMC 1000?

500 kg (1,102 lb). Count vises, fixture plates and a rotary table against that figure before the workpiece itself.

03 What spindle taper and speed does it use?

BBT 40 at 10,000 rpm, direct drive. The motor is listed at 7.5/18 kW with 47.7/115 Nm of torque, and rigid tapping is standard.

04 What tool changer is standard?

A BBT 40 arm-type automatic tool changer with 24-tool capacity. Tool and workpiece measuring systems are available as optional equipment.
