Overview
The Dener TMC 1300 is where Dener's vertical machining centers get the larger spindle motor. Its listed spindle power is 11/30 kW with 77.8/191 Nm of torque, on a BBT 40 taper at 10,000 rpm.
Torque is the figure to look at. 191 Nm at the upper rating is enough for large face mills and big drills in steel, work the 115 Nm spindle of the TMC 1200 handles only at reduced cuts.
The envelope grows too. X travel is 1,300 mm (51.2 in), and Y and Z are 700 mm each. A 700 mm Y axis is the notable one: it lets a wide plate or a mould half be machined in a single setup that the TMC 1200, with 600 mm of Y, would need to reposition. The table measures 1,450 x 700 mm and carries 1,200 kg (2,646 lb).
Rapids are 36 m/min in all axes, with a cutting feed range of 1~15 m/min.
