Overview

The Dener TMC 850 is the smallest of Dener's CNC vertical machining centers, a BBT 40 machine with axis travels of 850 mm (33.5 in) in X, 510 mm in Y and 560 mm in Z. It carries a 10,000 rpm direct-drive spindle and a 24-tool arm-type changer as standard.

The travels describe a general-purpose shop machine. The table is 1,000 x 500 mm and takes 500 kg (1,102 lb), so it suits plates, small housings and vise work in two or three stations. Z travel of 560 mm is generous against the X travel and leaves room for a rotary table and long tools at once; Dener prepares the machine for a 4th axis as standard and lists the rotary table itself as an option.

Spindle motor power is listed as 7.5/18 kW with 47.7/115 Nm of torque. Rapid traverse is 36 m/min on all three axes and the cutting feed range is 1~15 m/min. The axis motors are 2.2/2.2/3.5 kW.

The standard control is a Mitsubishi M80A-8A with Navi-Mill conversational programming; a FANUC 0i MF is optional. Through-tool coolant at 30 bar is also an option, so deep drilling needs it added to the order. The frame is a stress-relieved Meehanite casting.
