How much does the Yawei YTF-12045 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Yawei YTF-12045 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Yawei YTF-12045 is the top model of the YTF high-performance tube laser series by every measure of size: an X-axis travel of 12,800 mm (503.9 in), Round tube Φ20-Φ430 mm and a maximum pipe weight of 800 kg (1,764 lb).
No other YTF carries as much. The YTF-9045 cuts the same sections but is listed at 600 kg (1,323 lb), and the YTF-12035 of equal length stops at 500 kg (1,102 lb). Square sections are listed as square pipe □20-□300 mm. Y and Z travel are 400 mm (15.7 in) and 360 mm (14.2 in).
The price of capacity is dynamics. Maximum A/B axis speed is 60 r/min and X/Y acceleration is 0.6 G, the lowest figures in the series, shared with the YTF-9045. A long, heavy tube cannot be spun or shuttled like a light one, so this is expected, but it means cycle times on small parts will lag the lighter models.
Laser power is 2, 3, 4 or 6 kW. For sections of this size the upper end of that list is the realistic choice. Accuracy is given as ±0.05 mm (±0.0020 in) and ±0.03 mm (±0.0012 in). The machine needs a layout of 19,300 x 5,500 x 3,000 mm (759.8 x 216.5 x 118.1 in). Yawei's description of the YTF speaks of nanometer-level interpolation, upstream data exchange and servo material support; the last of these matters most here, since a long tube sags without it.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Longest X-axis travel in the series: 12,800 mm (503.9 in)
- Maximum pipe weight of 800 kg (1,764 lb), the highest of any YTF
- Round tube Φ20-Φ430 mm and square pipe □20-□300 mm
- Servo material support for long tube
- Infinite rotary travel on the A and B axes
Limitations
- A/B axis speed of 60 r/min and acceleration of 0.6 G are the lowest in the YTF series
- Layout of 19,300 x 5,500 x 3,000 mm
- Laser power is limited to 2, 3, 4 or 6 kW
- The table's speed row is mislabelled on the page, so no linear speed is quoted here

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The machining range is Round tube Φ20-Φ430 mm; square pipe □20-□300 mm. Maximum pipe weight is 800 kg (1,764 lb) and X-axis travel is 12,800 mm (503.9 in).
02
Both have 12,800 mm of X travel and the same layout. The YTF-12045 takes larger sections and 800 kg (1,764 lb); the YTF-12035 is limited to 500 kg (1,102 lb) but lists 80 r/min and 0.8 G against 60 r/min and 0.6 G here.
03
Laser generator power is listed as 2, 3, 4 or 6 kW, the same options as on every YTF model. Yawei publishes no wall thickness chart for them.
04
The dimension of the machine is 19,300 x 5,500 x 3,000 mm (759.8 x 216.5 x 118.1 in) as length, width and height. That is the longest layout in the YTF series, shared with the YTF-12035.
