Accuway UT-360

Accuway calls the UT-360 a high performance turning center, and the table backs the label with motor and tool-shank figures a class above the UT-300. The spindle motor is 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp), with 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp) in brackets; tools are 32 mm (1.3 in) square and 50 mm (2.0 in) round.

It is the short bed of its series. Z travel is 750 mm (29.5 in), turning length 630 mm (24.8 in) with the A2-8 nose and 550 mm (21.7 in) with either A2-11 column. Maximum turning diameter is 540 mm (21.3 in) under a 750 mm (29.5 in) swing over bed, and the swing over the saddle, 600 mm (23.6 in), is half as large again as on the UT-300 at 400 mm (15.7 in). That saddle clearance is what lets a large-diameter part pass the cross slide.

Three spindle columns are tabled: A2-8 with a 12 in chuck and 2,700 rpm, then A2-11 with a 15 in chuck at 2,500 rpm or 2,000 rpm, the last passing a 116.5 mm (4.6 in) bar. The options go further and name an A2-15 spindle headstock and 166 mm bar capacity, plus a gear box for low-speed torque.

As delivered the turret is a 12-station BOT type. The optional list offers a 12-station servo turret and an APT 50 power turret with CS contouring control or CF axis control, which is how milling is added to this short bed. Weight is 6,200 kg (13,668 lb); the tailstock quill is 120 mm (4.7 in) in diameter with an MT#6 taper.
