Overview
Ø1,600 mm (63.0 in) over the bed and Ø1,000 mm (39.4 in) over the cross slide: the You Ji YB63 is the larger of the two YB flat bed horizontal turning lathes, and those two swings are what a buyer gets over the YB55.
The gain shows most on shafts. Because the carriage has to travel under the work, the cross slide figure governs anything long, and here a Ø1,000 mm (39.4 in) roll body or rotor fits where the YB55 stops at Ø800 mm (31.5 in). Turning diameter over the bed is Ø1,300 mm (51.2 in) for short, flanged or disc-shaped sections near the chuck.

Two of the turret codes in You Ji's key have driven tools: HLC is a BMT power turret and YC is a Y-axis cross slide with a Capto power turret. The other codes (H, HL, V, VL, HV) are H8 and V4 hydraulic turrets for turning only. The table prints no driven-tool speed or power.
