You Ji HV320 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the You Ji HV320 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from You Ji or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The You Ji HV320 combines two lathes in one machine: a CNC vertical turning lathe and an inverted spindle lathe. The catalogue table has one column for each, the inverted spindle labelled OP1 and the vertical turning lathe OP2, so a part is turned on one side, handed over and finished on the other without leaving the enclosure.

Both sides carry identical figures. Each has a 15 in (381 mm) chuck, Ø450 mm (17.7 in) maximum turning diameter, Ø600 mm (23.6 in) swing and 300 mm (11.8 in) turning height. Each spindle has an A2-11 nose, a 37/45 kW (49.6/60.3 hp) motor and a 50-1,600 rpm range, and each is served by a 10-st. turret with Capto C6 tooling.

That is a lot of spindle for the diameter. You Ji's YV500, also a 15 in chuck machine, has an 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp) motor; the HV320 doubles the rating on each of its two spindles. The machine is aimed at parts such as brake discs, hubs and gear blanks made in volume from forgings or castings, where both faces need heavy cuts.

It is a large installation for the part size. The floor dimension is 5,450 x 3,800 mm (214.6 x 149.6 in) and the height 4,400 mm (173.2 in), and those figures are printed once for the combined machine. No loading weight is given.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Two spindles, OP1 inverted and OP2 vertical, complete both sides in one machine
  • 37/45 kW (49.6/60.3 hp) on each spindle with an A2-11 nose
  • 10-st. turret with Capto C6 tooling on each side
  • Ø450 mm (17.7 in) turning diameter within a Ø600 mm (23.6 in) swing

Limitations

  • Floor dimension of 5,450 x 3,800 mm (214.6 x 149.6 in) is large for parts of this size
  • Turning height is 300 mm (11.8 in), so only disc-type parts fit
  • Top speed is 1,600 rpm; the catalogue lists no loading weight or axis travels
  • A single size: the model key lists only the 320

Best For

Brake discs, hubs and gear blanks turned on both faces High-volume lines that would otherwise need two lathes and a transfer Heavy roughing of forgings up to Ø450 mm (17.7 in)

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What kind of machine is the HV320?

You Ji calls it a CNC vertical turning lathe and inverted spindle lathe. The inverted spindle performs the first operation (OP1) and the vertical turning lathe the second (OP2). The catalogue gives each side its own column of specifications, with the same values in both.

02 What are the turning capacities of the HV320?

On each side: 15 in (381 mm) chuck, Ø450 mm (17.7 in) maximum turning diameter, Ø600 mm (23.6 in) maximum swing and 300 mm (11.8 in) maximum turning height.

03 What spindle and turret does the HV320 use?

Each spindle has an A2-11 nose, a 37/45 kW (49.6/60.3 hp) motor and a speed range of 50-1,600 rpm. The turret type is listed as 10-st. (Capto C6), meaning ten stations with Capto C6 tool holders.

04 How much space does the HV320 take?

The catalogue lists a floor dimension of 5,450 x 3,800 mm (214.6 x 149.6 in) and a machine height of 4,400 mm (173.2 in) for the complete machine. Weight is not listed, so the foundation plan must come from the maker.
