Price estimate
We do not have a price for the YCM NXV560A-APC that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The YCM NXV560A-APC is a compact BBT40 vertical machining center built around an automatic pallet changer. Travels are 560 mm (22 in) in X, 410 mm (16.1 in) in Y and 450 mm (17.7 in) in Z, and each pallet measures 560 x 410 mm (22.05 x 16.14 in), so a pallet covers the whole X and Y stroke.
The pallet changer sets the limits of the work. A pallet carries 120 kg (265 lb), fixture included, and YCM gives its hole pattern as M12 on an 80 mm grid instead of T-slots. That points to small parts on dedicated fixture plates, loaded outside the enclosure while the other pallet is in the cut. Spindle nose to pallet top runs 25~475 mm (0.98~18.7 in), so tall fixtures fit as long as the weight stays inside the limit.
YCM fits its in-house IDD spindle: 12,000 rpm as standard with grease lubrication, or 15,000 rpm as an option with oil-air lubrication, both listed at 18.5 kW (25 HP). Rapids are 48 m/min (1,890 ipm) on all three axes and the 24-tool magazine changes tool-to-tool in 1.8 sec. On short-cycle parts those two figures count for more than spindle power, because much of the cycle is positioning and tool changes.
A tool can be ø76 x 250 mm with neighbours on both sides and weigh 6 kg (13 lb). A coolant shower is standard on the NXV series, spindle cooling is an option, and the machine weighs 3,830 kg (8,444 lb).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Automatic pallet change with 560 x 410 mm (22.05 x 16.14 in) pallets, so parts are loaded while the spindle keeps cutting
- Rapid traverse of 48 m/min (1,890 ipm) on X, Y and Z
- 1.8 sec tool-to-tool change from a 24-tool magazine with an absolute encoder ATC
- 12,000 rpm IDD spindle at 18.5 kW (25 HP), with a 15,000 rpm oil-air lubricated option
- Absolute positioning encoders on all axis servo motors, so no zero return is needed
Limitations
- Pallet load is limited to 120 kg (265 lb), fixture and part together
- The magazine holds 24 tools and the table lists no larger option
- Pallets carry an M12 hole pattern on an 80 mm grid, so vises and T-slot fixtures need a sub-plate
- Spindle cooling is listed as an option, not as part of the standard machine

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Each pallet is 560 x 410 mm (22.05 x 16.14 in) and is rated for 120 kg (265 lb). The hole pattern is M12 on an 80 mm grid. The fixture counts toward the load, so weigh it together with the part.
02
X is 560 mm (22 in), Y is 410 mm (16.1 in) and Z is 450 mm (17.7 in). The distance from spindle nose to pallet top is 25~475 mm (0.98~18.7 in). Rapid traverse is 48 m/min (1,890 ipm) on each axis.
03
The standard IDD spindle runs to 12,000 rpm and is grease lubricated. A 15,000 rpm spindle with oil-air lubrication is optional. Both are listed at 18.5 kW (25 HP) with a BBT40 taper, and a spindle cooling system is an option.
04
The magazine holds 24 tools and changes tool-to-tool in 1.8 sec. A tool can be ø76 x 250 mm with adjacent pockets filled, or ø125 x 250 mm without adjacent tools, and weigh up to 6 kg (13 lb).
