How much does the Vision Wide XML-37 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide XML-37 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Between the low XM and the tall XMF, the Vision Wide XML-37 is the mid-height moving column machine. Its ram is 580x580 mm (22.8x22.8 in), and Z travel is 1,500 mm as standard with 1,800 mm, 2,000 mm and 2,200 mm as options.
Four Z strokes is more choice than either neighbour offers. The maker prints the spindle nose to table distance for two of them: 850~2,350 mm (33.5~92.5 in) with the standard stroke and 850~2,650 mm (33.5~104.3 in) with 1,800 mm. The row for the longest stroke appears twice on the page with different values, so that figure should be confirmed.
The XML-37 has 3,700 mm (145.7 in) of Y travel and takes a workpiece up to 3,600 mm (141.7 in) wide. The table is listed as 3×(8~60) m, with X travel built within 8,200(+1m)~60,200 mm.
Compare the XM-37, with the same Y travel: a 470x460 mm (18.5x18.1 in) ram, 1,000 mm of standard Z, and 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of workpiece width. The XML is the heavier machine in every vertical respect and passes a wider part.
Spindle power is 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp), rapid traverse 20/20/12 m/min. A FANUC 0iMF Plus is the standard control.

Both have 3,700 mm (145.7 in) of Y travel. The XM-37 has a 470x460 mm (18.5x18.1 in) ram and takes a 3,200 mm (126.0 in) wide part. The XML-37 has a 580x580 mm (22.8x22.8 in) ram and takes 3,600 mm (141.7 in).

850~2,350 mm (33.5~92.5 in) with the standard 1,500 mm Z travel, and 850~2,650 mm (33.5~104.3 in) with the 1,800 mm option.

The XML table prints the load row in kilograms without the per-square-metre unit used for the other moving column series. Confirm the rating with Vision Wide; the table is listed as 3×(8~60) m.
