How much does the HNK HPM-15H (15x40) cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the HNK HPM-15H (15x40) that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Stretching the smallest die and mold bridge by a metre gives the HNK HPM-15H (15x40): a 1,500 x 4,000 mm (59.1 x 157.5 in) table with 4,250 mm (167.3 in) of X travel.
The longer table changes what can be set up, not how it is cut. Long, narrow tools such as bumper beam dies, sill molds and extrusion tooling fit in one piece. Alternatively two shorter mold halves sit end to end and are finished in one programme. The catch is weight: the table load is still 10,000 kg (22,046 lb), now spread over more length, so two heavy blocks may exceed it.
The head is common to the whole series. A Ø100 mm (3.9 in) spindle with ISO No.50 taper turns at 6,000 rpm, 8,000 rpm in braces, on 22/25 kW (29.5/33.5 hp), cont/30min. Ram travel is 800 mm (31.5 in) and the crossrail moves 1,000 mm (39.4 in). Between the columns there is 2,200 mm (86.6 in), with 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y.
If width matters more than length, the HPM-20H (20x40) offers the same 4,250 mm of X on a 2,000 mm wide table rated for 15,000 kg (33,069 lb).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 4,250 mm (167.3 in) of X travel on a narrow, economical bridge
- Same 6,000 rpm spindle as the largest HPM-H sizes
- Ram of 380 x 380 mm (15.0 x 15.0 in) with 800 mm (31.5 in) of Z
- Crossrail travel of 1,000 mm (39.4 in)
Limitations
- Load stays at 10,000 kg (22,046 lb) despite the longer table
- Only 2,200 mm (86.6 in) between the columns
- Spindle diameter of Ø100 mm (3.9 in) limits heavy boring

Frequently Asked Questions
01
4,000 mm (157.5 in), at a width of 1,500 mm (59.1 in). The table travels 4,250 mm (167.3 in) in X, slightly more than its own length, so the spindle can reach both ends.
02
No. Both list a maximum allowable weight on the table of 10,000 kg (22,046 lb). It is a starred row, which HNK says can be changed to the customer's requirements, so a higher rating is a matter for the quotation.
03
Both have 4,250 mm (167.3 in) of X. The HPM-20H has a 2,000 x 4,000 mm (78.7 x 157.5 in) table, 2,700 mm (106.3 in) between columns, 1,200 mm (47.2 in) of W and 15,000 kg (33,069 lb) of load. The HPM-15H is narrower and lighter.
04
The control row lists Fanuc 31i-B and Siemens 840D, separated by a comma and without braces, which reads as a free choice between the two. The same pair is listed for every HPM-H size.
