Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide MF-5026 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Vision Wide MF-5026 is the largest MF and the largest box way milling machine the maker lists: 5,200 mm (204.7 in) of X travel, 2,600 mm (102.4 in) of Y, and a 5,200x2,050 mm (204.7x80.7 in) table that carries 15,000 kg (33,069 lb).
The series description amounts to a list of answers to one problem, how to cut heavily on a long sliding-way machine without losing accuracy. A 65-degree slant beam with three sliding ways holds the headstock. A gear reducer gives the X axis the thrust to move a loaded table. Y and Z are driven directly by large servo motors. The spindle and all three ball screws are cooled by separate oil coolers. The structure is a solid casting.
What the base machine leaves to the buyer is short. A tool magazine with arm type ATC, 40 or 60 tools, is optional. So are XYZ-axis linear scale feedback, a rotary table, a 6,000 rpm gear spindle and the through-tool coolant systems.
Rapid traverse is 10 m/min in X and 12 m/min in Y and Z, and cutting feed 1-7,000 mm/min. Power is 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp) as standard. Z travel is 920 mm, with 1,020 mm optional. A Fanuc 0iMF PLUS controls the machine.
