Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide GSF-4027 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Four head versions are listed for the Vision Wide GSF-4027, a five-axis gantry with 4,000 mm (157.5 in) of X travel and 2,700 mm (106.3 in) of Y.
The standard is the HST810x15,000 rpm/HSK-A100. Beside it Vision Wide offers the HST810x12,000 rpm/HSK-A100, the HST810x24,000 rpm/HSK-A63 and the HSD610x24,000 rpm/HSK-A63. Two families, then: HST810 heads in three speeds, and a second, differently named HSD610 head at the top speed on the smaller interface. The page does not explain how the HSD610 differs from the HST810 beyond the name, or give power figures for any of the options.
The figures that are published belong to the standard head: 15,000 rpm and 50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp) on the S1/S6 ratings. That is a great deal of power for a five-axis head, enough to rough as well as finish.
A four-metre gantry moving at 32 m/min needs its X drive supported, and an X axis ball screw support device is standard at this length. X and Z run on dual ballscrews, and X has dual linear scales. The fixed table is 4,000 x 2,700 mm (157.5 x 106.3 in), rated 3,000 kg/m2.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Standard: HST810x15,000 rpm/HSK-A100. Optional: HST810x12,000 rpm/HSK-A100, HST810x24,000 rpm/HSK-A63 and HSD610x24,000 rpm/HSK-A63.
02
50/65 kW (67.1/87.2 hp), given as S1/S6 ratings, at 15,000 rpm. These figures match the standard head; the page gives none for the optional heads.
03
4,000 mm (157.5 in) in X, 2,700 mm (106.3 in) in Y and 1,000/1,200 mm (39.4/47.2 in) in Z, over a 4,000 x 2,700 mm (157.5 x 106.3 in) table.
04
It is driven by dual ballscrews with an X axis ball screw support device, standard for axes of 4m and above, and measured by dual linear scales. Y and Z each have a linear scale.
