Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Tajmac-ZPS MANURHIN K'MX 732 EVO that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Three tools can cut together on the MANURHIN K'MX 732 EVO. It is a seven-axis sliding-headstock lathe for Ø 32 mm (1.3 in) bar: two opposed racks at the guide bush on X1, X2, Y1 and Y2, a third axial rack on Y3, and the Z1 and Z2 strokes of the two spindles. The main electro spindle is rated 15 / 25 kW (100% / 25%).
Think of it as two sibling designs merged. From the MANURHIN K'MX 632 it takes the pair of racks that turn or mill on both sides of the bar. From the MANURHIN K'MX 532 it takes the independent axial rack, here with 260 mm of Y3 stroke. The result is that a drill can work the bar face while both racks are in the cut, which is the three-tool case the maker describes.
Holding the bar against that load is treated as a feature in its own right. The brochure says the main spindle is clamped by a strong pneumatic cylinder to give enough clamping power for extreme turning conditions, and that the stiffness of the assembly comes from linear guides with rollers. Live tools are quoted at 2,3 kW and 32 Nm.
The racks at the guide bush have 45 mm of horizontal and 193 mm of vertical stroke. Turning positions are (2 x 5) + (2 x 4) for 16 x 16 mm shanks, and every listed rapid feed is 30 m/min. The headstock stroke of 410 mm turns 400 mm at a time, and the counter spindle has 3.7 / 5.5 kW (100% / 30 min) on a 295 mm stroke.
Control is FANUC 31i – Model B. Power input is 37 kVA and the weight 4,600 kg, both slightly above the six-axis machine, on the same 3,000 x 1,460 x 1,860 mm outline.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Up to 3 tools in the cut at the same time: two racks at the guide bush plus an axial rack on Y3
- 15 / 25 kW (20.1 / 33.5 hp) main electro spindle with pneumatic cylinder clamping
- Linear guides with rollers for stiffness
- Axial rack with 260 mm (10.2 in) of Y3 stroke, independent of the main racks
- FANUC 31i – Model B control
- 400 mm (15.7 in) of turning length on one stroke
Limitations
- Main spindle speed is limited to 8,000 rpm
- Seven linear axes with three simultaneous cuts take more programming and prove-out than a single-rack machine
- Motorized tools on the racks are optional equipment
- Power input rises to 37 kVA, against 32 kVA on the MANURHIN K'MX 632 DUO

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Seven linear CNC axes, X1, X2, Y1, Y2, Y3, Z1 and Z2, and two rotary axes, C1 and C2. X1, X2, Y1 and Y2 move the two main tool racks, Y3 moves the axial rack, and Z1 and Z2 are the main and counter spindle strokes.
02
The MANURHIN K'MX 632 has six linear axes and two tools in the cut. The EVO adds the Y3 axial rack with 260 mm of stroke, raising the number of simultaneous tools to three, and lists turning positions as (2 x 5) + (2 x 4). Its control is FANUC 31i – Model B, power input is 37 kVA and weight 4,600 kg.
03
The main electro spindle delivers 15 / 25 kW (100% / 25%) at up to 8,000 rpm through a Ø 37 mm bore. The counter spindle is rated 3.7 / 5.5 kW (100% / 30 min). Live tools are quoted at 2,3 kW with 32 Nm of torque.
04
Tajmac-ZPS says the machine is typically delivered with an automatic bar feeder with encoder and a magazine for 3m bars. The Ø 37 mm bore means a Ø 32 mm bar needs no modification of its end for the feeder collet; Ø 36 mm bar is optional on request.
05
Parts up to 170 mm (6.7 in) are ejected from the front, and the counter spindle holds 150 mm inside it. Parts over 170 mm are evacuated only through the counter spindle, which is an option for parts up to Ø 26 mm.
