Overview
Only one GrindMaster has a programmable B axis, and it is the Supertec GM-80CNC. The table lists the wheelhead swivel as automatic servo rotation, driven by a 1.2 kW (1.6 hp) motor through +120° / -30°. On the two smaller models that row is marked not available. With it, the control can turn the wheelhead between operations, presenting the OD wheel or an ID wheel at the angle a taper or face calls for.
It is also the big machine. External grinding reaches Ø800 mm (31 in), the internal range is Ø6~Ø600 mm (Ø0.2~Ø24 in), and swing over the table is Ø820 mm (32 in). Workpiece length stays at 300 mm (12 in), so the parts are discs and rings: large bearing races, gear blanks, flanges.
Workholding steps up accordingly. The standard chuck is an 8 in hydraulic three-jaw with a 10 in option, on an A2-6 spindle nose, and the load figure is 80 kg (176 lb). That is still modest for a ring approaching Ø800 mm, and heavier work should be discussed with Supertec before ordering.
Axis travels match the mid-size model at 600 mm (24 in) on X and 500 mm (20 in) on Y, with a 0°~20° infeed angle. Net weight is 7,700 kg (16,975 lb).

Each of the two ID spindles is supplied at one speed, to be chosen from 8,000 / 15,000 / 20,000 / 30,000 rpm. Supertec's feature list also names a spare internal grinding spindle, which is one way to keep a second speed on hand for a different bore size.
