How much does the Onsrud 121G cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Onsrud 121G that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Onsrud 121G is where the tall-stroke G-Series starts. It pairs a 28 in (711 mm) Z-stroke with the shortest table in that block, 121 in (3,074 mm) in X by 61 in (1,550 mm) in Y: one five-by-ten sheet, or a block of material up to ten feet long.
A 3-axis router with 28 in of Z is not bought for flat sheet. The clearance is for thick stock, parts stood on risers or fixtures, and long tools that would not fit under a sheet-height gantry. The cost is in the frame. The 121G stands 155 in (3,937 mm) high and is 142 in (3,607 mm) wide, wider than the low-stroke 145G at 136 in (3,455 mm).
Length works the other way. At 227 in (5,766 mm) the 121G is the shortest five-foot-wide machine in the series. The 145G has two more feet of table, yet its frame with the 11 in stroke is only a foot longer.
Standard vacuum is 3 zones. Thick blocks are often clamped or screwed down instead, so ask about the table surface if vacuum alone will not hold the work. The spindle is the series unit, 18 hp (13.4 kW) at 24,000 rpm with 12 tools, and a 24 hp (17.9 kW) spindle is optional.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 28 in (711 mm) Z-stroke on a compact 121 in (3,074 mm) by 61 in (1,550 mm) table
- Shortest five-foot-wide G-Series frame at 227 in (5,766 mm)
- 3 vacuum zones as standard
- 24 hp (17.9 kW) spindle optional for heavier cuts
Limitations
- Machine height of 155 in (3,937 mm)
- Table X of 121 in (3,074 mm) takes one ten-foot sheet, no more
- No 40 in stroke at this width; Onsrud reserves it for the Wide G-Series

Frequently Asked Questions
01
28 in (711 mm). The code appears only in the 28 in block of Onsrud's G-Series table, with a table of 121 in (3,074 mm) by 61 in (1,550 mm). It is not offered with a shorter stroke; for that, Onsrud lists other codes with longer tables.
02
155 in (3,937 mm), which is close to thirteen feet. The frame is 227 in (5,766 mm) long and 142 in (3,607 mm) wide. Check door heights and overhead services as well as the ceiling before committing to this stroke.
03
The 145G has a longer table, 145 in (3,683 mm), and is listed with 11 in or 18 in of Z. The 121G gives up length for 28 in of Z-stroke. Both have 3 vacuum zones and the same spindle.
04
It has the Z-stroke for tall work, but it is a 3-axis machine, so the tool always points straight down. Vertical walls and undercuts need long tools or a different head. Onsrud sells a G-Series 5-Axis line for that kind of part.
