Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Palmary PCB-6025-3 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Palmary PCB-6025-3 is a 3-axis CNC centerless grinder using a Ø610 mm by 255 mm grinding wheel. It is the wider of two models on Palmary's page and the one shown in the product photograph. The standard range is Ø2 to Ø80 mm; Ø70 to Ø150 mm is optional.
Wider wheels need more coolant, and the table reflects that: the coolant tank is 140 L (37.0 gal) here against 125 L on the PCB-6020-3. Weight is printed as 5,800 kg (12,787 lb) for both.
The regulating wheel is Ø330 mm by 255 mm. At that diameter it supports large work steadily, and its speed range of 10 to 200 rpm is lower than the 300 rpm of the PCB-4525, in keeping with bigger parts. It tilts ±5°. Fine swivel of ±0.5° is provided on the wheel and a ±5° swivel on its dressing device, with a dresser offset of 0 to 15 mm.
Palmary's design notes for the model are brief. The bed and its support ribs are arranged for stable accuracy; the grinding wheel spindle is held on one side in super precision cylindrical roller bearings for rigidity; a high-speed automatic loading and unloading attachment can be designed for the application. Grinding speed is 45 m/s (8,858 ft/min) and the controller is FANUC. The motor rows of the published table are mislabelled, so motor ratings should be taken from Palmary's offer.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Grinding wheel Ø610 x 255 mm with a 304.8 mm bore; regulating wheel Ø330 x 255 mm with a 152.4 mm bore. Linear velocity of the grinding wheel is 45 m/s (8,858 ft/min).
02
As an option. The table gives the standard grinding range as Ø2 to Ø80 mm and an optional range of Ø70 to Ø150 mm. For Ø150 mm as a standard capacity Palmary lists the PCB-6030 with a 305 mm wheel.
03
Oil mist for the grinding wheel spindle, oil grease for the regulating wheel spindle and an automatic lubricator for the slides. The grinding wheel spindle lubrication system holds 1.0 L and the table slide lubrication 4 L.
04
A FANUC CNC controller, regulating and grinding wheels with flanges, thrufeed and infeed work rests with carbide blades, a set of four diamond tools, the electric system, a spindle lubrication system, a coolant tank with pump, a work lamp and tools.
