Overview
The Vollmer VGrind 360 S grinds workpieces up to 200 mm in outside diameter and up to 360 mm long, on travels of 426 mm in X, 490 mm in Y and 505 mm in Z. Three spindle variants are listed, all on HSK50, and Vollmer gives a torque figure for each of them, which makes the choice easier to reason about than power alone.
Both belt spindles are rated 11 kW at 100 % ED with a 23 kW peak. What separates them is how that power is delivered: the 8500 rpm version delivers 17 Nm and the 6500 rpm version 25 Nm, about 47% more torque for the slower spindle. That favours large wheels and deep, full-width cuts. The motor spindle goes the other way, with 16,000 rpm, 10 kW at 100 % ED, a 20 kW peak and 9.5 Nm, which suits small wheels that need speed more than torque. Grinding wheels are max. 150 mm in diameter whichever spindle is fitted.
Set against the VGrind 360, which has 350 mm, 450 mm and 500 mm of X, Y and Z travel, the gain is largest in X at about 22%. The extra room is what lets a wide workpiece clear the wheel pack.
Axis A1 covers 360° at 450 rpm, with 1000 rpm as an option, and axis C1 swivels from +15° to -200°. Plan for a connected load of approx. 19.2 kVA and a machine weight of approx. 4900 kg net.

Vollmer lists a workpiece outside diameter of up to 200 mm and a workpiece length of up to 360 mm. The grinding wheel itself is limited to max. 150 mm in diameter, on an HSK50 interface.

Axis A1 rotates through 360° at 450 rpm, and 1000 rpm is listed as an option. Axis C1 has a swivel range from +15° to -200°. If the faster A1 axis matters for the work, it needs to be on the order.
