How much does the Onsrud 122E cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Onsrud 122E that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
With twin tables 60 in (1,524 mm) deep, the Onsrud 122E is the E-Series size that takes five-foot stock on each table. It is a 3-axis fixed-bridge router with an 18 hp (13.4 kW), 24,000 rpm spindle, sold in four width columns that put table X at 60 in (1,524 mm), 72 in (1,829 mm), 96 in (2,439 mm) or 120 in (3,048 mm).
In the widest column each table is 120 in by 60 in. A machine with two tables of that size can run a five-by-ten sheet on one while the other is being stripped and reloaded, which is the pendulum method Onsrud describes for the series.
The frame is 260 in (6,604 mm) wide in every column. Length follows the table: 147 in (3,734 mm), 159 in (4,039 mm), 210 in (5,334 mm) and 243 in (6,173 mm) from W5 to W10. Height is 106 in (2,693 mm).
Four vacuum zones are standard in all four columns. Tooling starts at 12 positions and can go to 24, and a second tool changer is offered. The Z-stroke is 11 in (279 mm) unless one of the 18 in (457 mm), 28 in (711 mm) or 40 in (1,016 mm) options is ordered. Spindle upgrades are a 24 hp (17.9 kW) motor and additional spindles, up to 8.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Both tables are 60 in (1,524 mm) in Y. Table X is 60 in (1,524 mm), 72 in (1,829 mm), 96 in (2,439 mm) or 120 in (3,048 mm), according to the W5, W6, W8 or W10 column.
02
Table depth. The 98E tables are 48 in (1,220 mm) in Y and the 122E tables 60 in (1,524 mm). The 122E is 260 in (6,604 mm) wide in all columns, where the narrower 98E columns are 237 in (6,020 mm).
03
11 in (279 mm) is standard. Onsrud lists 18 in (457 mm), 28 in (711 mm) and 40 in (1,016 mm) as upgrades for the 3-axis E-Series.
04
With a second spindle, yes. Onsrud describes adding a second spindle to the twin table configuration as dual process technology, cutting twice as many parts in the same time. The series supports up to 8 spindles.
