How much does the MCM CLOCK 1200 EVO cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the MCM CLOCK 1200 EVO that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The MCM CLOCK 1200 EVO is the largest horizontal machining center in the CLOCK EVO line. Its X-axis stroke is 1,200 mm (47.2 in), over 1,000 mm (39.4 in) of Y, and it works on 630 x 630 mm (24.8 x 24.8 in) or 630 x 800 mm (24.8 x 31.5 in) pallets.
What you are buying here is width. The CLOCK 1000 EVO lists the same Y travel, the same Z travels, the same pallets and the same 75 m/min (2,952.8 ipm) rapid feed, with 1,000 mm (39.4 in) of X. So the longer X axis serves parts or fixtures that overhang the pallet sideways, or tools that need room to clear a wide tombstone. If nothing on your part list is wider than the smaller machine can reach, the table gives no other reason to step up.
Z is 1,100 mm (43.3 in) on the 4-Axes machine and 1,000 mm (39.4 in) on the 5-Axes and 5-Axes Multitasking versions. Those two carry a tilting table with a 145 degree range (+25/-120). The Multitasking version works on a round Ø 800 mm (Ø 31.5 in) pallet, is listed for milling, turning and grinding, and has a table speed row of 100 / 800 min-1 where the milling versions show 100 min-1.
HSK, ISO and CAPTO tapers are offered. The magazine holds "up to 80 (500+)" tools as MCM prints it. Like the rest of the line it comes as a Single-Pallet, Twin-Pallet or Multi-Pallet machine or inside an FMS.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,200 mm (47.2 in) of X travel, the longest in the CLOCK EVO line
- Keeps the 75 m/min (2,952.8 ipm) rapid feed of the smaller CLOCK EVO sizes
- 4-Axes version offers 1,100 mm (43.3 in) of Z travel
- 5-axis versions use a tilting table with 145 degrees of travel (+25/-120)
- Multitasking version turns and grinds on a Ø 800 mm (Ø 31.5 in) pallet
Limitations
- Y travel stays at 1,000 mm (39.4 in) and the pallets stay at 630 x 800 mm (24.8 x 31.5 in) at most, so the extra X does not come with a taller or larger work zone
- 5-axis versions lose Z travel against the 4-Axes machine: 1,000 mm (39.4 in) instead of 1,100 mm (43.3 in)
- No pallet load, spindle power or machine weight is published in the table
- The meaning of the two Multitasking table speeds, 100 / 800 min-1, is not explained on the page

Frequently Asked Questions
01
X travel. The CLOCK 1000 EVO has 1,000 mm (39.4 in) of X; this machine has 1,200 mm (47.2 in). Y travel, the Z travels of each configuration, pallet sizes, tilting angle, table speeds and the 75 m/min (2,952.8 ipm) rapid feed are printed with the same values on both pages.
02
The 4-Axes and 5-Axes versions use a 630 x 630 mm (24.8 x 24.8 in) pallet, with 630 x 800 mm (24.8 x 31.5 in) as the second option. The 5-Axes Multitasking version uses a round Ø 800 mm (Ø 31.5 in) pallet. Pallet load is not stated.
03
Either. MCM lists three axis configurations: 4-Axes for milling, 5-Axes for milling with a tilting table, and 5-Axes Multitasking for milling, turning and grinding. The tilting table has a range of 145 degrees, +25/-120, and choosing it reduces Z travel from 1,100 mm (43.3 in) to 1,000 mm (39.4 in).
04
MCM's table names the tool tapers, HSK, ISO and CAPTO, without giving power or torque for any of them. Treat the spindle as something to specify with MCM: state the taper, the material and the tool sizes, and ask for the power and torque curves of the unit they propose.
