How much does the Machitech Maverick MV 6x12 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Machitech Maverick MV 6x12 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Machitech Maverick MV 6x12 is the largest Maverick and the only one wider than the base frame. Machitech prints its processing range as 78 in - 150 in (1,980 - 3,810 mm), and the machine grows to 115 in (2,921 mm) wide and 187 in (4,749 mm) long.
The extra width is the point. Plate wider than the smaller tables accept fits here, and so do wide single parts such as trailer panels and tank heads that would otherwise be cut in two and welded. Workpiece weight rises to 4,410 lbs (2,000 kg), the highest of the three sizes.
Nothing else about the machine is scaled up, and a buyer should weigh that. The gantry is the same machined aluminum section spanning a wider bed, with the same Nema 34 motors on each side. Machitech states the same figures for all three sizes: 800 ipm (20,320 mm/min) cutting speed, 1,200 ipm (30,480 mm/min) rapid traverse, 0.004 in (0.1 mm) positional accuracy and 0.002 in (0.05 mm) repeatability. Maximum plate thickness stays at 1.5 in (38 mm) and Z-axis clearance at 5.5 in (140 mm).
At 2,500 lbs (1,130 kg) without the plasma source, it is still a light machine for its bed. Pipe cutting for 1.6 to 8 in diameter is optional, along with manual bevel, pneumatic scribing and oxyfuel. The bed serves as water or downdraft table. Shops that need this format with high-definition plasma can look at the Silver Cut 6x12, whose range Machitech gives in the same figures.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Widest Maverick: 115 in (2,921 mm) machine width for wider plate
- Highest workpiece weight of the line, 4,410 lbs (2,000 kg)
- Keeps the 1,200 ipm (30,480 mm/min) rapid traverse of the smaller sizes
- Optional pipe cutting, scribing and oxyfuel
- Weighs 2,500 lbs (1,130 kg) before the plasma source
Limitations
- Same aluminum gantry and Nema 34 motors as the smaller tables, on a wider span
- Maximum plate thickness remains 1.5 in (38 mm)
- Needs 187 in (4,749 mm) of length
- No larger Maverick exists; longer beds start with the Silver Cut

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Machitech's table prints it as 78 in - 150 in (1,980 - 3,810 mm). The table is rated for a workpiece weight of 4,410 lbs (2,000 kg), and maximum plate thickness is 1.5 in (38 mm).
02
Not according to the table. All three sizes are listed at 800 ipm (20,320 mm/min) maximum cutting speed and 1,200 ipm (30,480 mm/min) maximum rapid traverse, with 0.004 in (0.1 mm) positional accuracy.
03
Total width is 115 in (2,921 mm), total length 187 in (4,749 mm) and total height 53 in (1,346 mm). The machine weighs 2,500 lbs (1,130 kg) with standard equipment, without the plasma source or options.
04
Manual bevel, pneumatic scribing, oxyfuel cutting with a choice of fuel, and pipe cutting for 1.6 to 8 in diameter. On-site installation and training and unlimited remote support are included.
