Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD PPED 200/30 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Two thousand kilonewtons is the top of the lighter PPED frame, and the LVD PPED 200/30 applies it to a 3,050 mm (120.1 in) working length. Above this size LVD changes the stroke, the opening and the table; below it the gap is shallower.
The gap is the detail to notice. At 300 mm (11.8 in) it is deeper than the 250 mm of the PPED 165/30, so a part wider than the 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between the uprights can carry a longer flange into the side frames.
Everything vertical is still the small-frame specification: 200 mm (7.9 in) of stroke, 500 mm (19.7 in) between table and ram, a 180 mm (7.1 in) table and a 970 mm (38.2 in) working height. The PPED 260/30 moves to a 300 mm stroke and 670 mm of open height. If the parts are flat panels and simple profiles, the smaller opening costs nothing. Deep boxes are a different matter.
Speeds sit a little under those of the PPED 165/30. The ram approaches at 100 mm/s, works at 9 mm/s and returns at 90 mm/s. The motor is the same 18 kW unit, so the extra force comes from the hydraulics and is paid for in speed; the tank grows to 350 L.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 2,000 kN on a three-metre bed
- 300 mm (11.8 in) gap, the deepest PPED figure
- 18 kW motor, no larger than on the PPED 165/30
- Welded one-piece, stress-relieved frame
- Touch-B control and CADMAN-B offline programming
Limitations
- 9 mm/s working speed and 90 mm/s return
- Stroke of 200 mm (7.9 in), where the PPED 260/30 has 300 mm
- 500 mm (19.7 in) open height limits tall tooling
- Table still rated at 1,000 kN/m

Frequently Asked Questions
01
More force and a deeper gap. The PPED 165/30 has 1,650 kN and a 250 mm gap and approaches at 110 mm/s. This machine has 2,000 kN and a 300 mm gap, approaches at 100 mm/s and carries 350 L of oil.
02
Within a 200 mm (7.9 in) stroke and 500 mm (19.7 in) of open height. For deeper parts the PPED 260/30 is the first model with a 300 mm stroke and 670 mm between table and ram.
03
X and R on the 2-axis backgauge, or X, R, Z1 and Z2 on the 4-axis one. LVD ties the backgauge to the version of the machine: PPED-4, PPED-5 or PPED-7.
04
Working speed is 9 mm/s, with a 100 mm/s approach and a 90 mm/s return. LVD's footnote says the working speed is limited to the safety norm for CE countries.
