Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD PPEB 80/25 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
At 2,500 mm (98.4 in) the LVD PPEB 80/25 is the longest of LVD's 800 kN PPEB press brakes. It weighs 6,500 kg (14,330 lb) and leaves 2,050 mm (80.7 in) between the uprights.
Two other LVD machines share these outer dimensions, and each shows a different side of this one. The PPED 80/25 is the economy alternative, with a 7.5 kW motor, a 10 mm/s working speed, a 200 mm gap and a table rated at 1,000 kN/m. The PPEB has an 11 kW motor, works at 13 mm/s after a 130 mm/s approach, and offers a 400 mm (15.7 in) gap and a 2,000 kN/m table. The gap is the difference a fabricator notices first, because it doubles the flange depth available on full-length parts.
The other relative is the Easy-Form 80/25, which adds laser angle measurement and bends at 22 mm/s on a 15 kW motor.
Between them the PPEB is the one a buyer shapes. Automatic crowning comes with the PPEB-5 and PPEB-8 versions. The backgauge has two, five or six axes. Hydraulic clamping, front supports, sheet followers and a hemming table are options.
Stroke is 200 mm (7.9 in), open height 400 mm, table width 120 mm (4.7 in) and working height 970 mm (38.2 in). The tank holds 125 L at 290 bar. LVD's table prints a return speed for this column that looks out of place beside its neighbours, so confirm that figure.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 2,500 mm (98.4 in) working length at 800 kN
- 400 mm (15.7 in) gap, where the PPED 80/25 has 200 mm
- Table rated at 2,000 kN/m
- Crowning standard on PPEB-5 and PPEB-8 versions
- 6,500 kg (14,330 lb), 11 kW motor
Limitations
- 13 mm/s working speed against 22 mm/s on the Easy-Form 80/25
- 2,050 mm (80.7 in) between the uprights
- Return speed for this size needs confirming with LVD
- Sheet followers and front supports are options

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The PPED 80/25 has a 200 mm gap, 500 mm of open height, a 10 mm/s working speed and a 1,000 kN/m table. The PPEB lists a 400 mm gap, 400 mm of open height, 13 mm/s and 2,000 kN/m, and can be configured with up to six backgauge axes.
02
LVD's table prints a value for this column that does not fit the neighbouring 800 kN columns, so it is best confirmed. The PPEB 80/20 is listed at 140 mm/s with the same motor and tank.
03
6,500 kg (14,330 lb), with a 125 L oil tank. The working height is 970 mm (38.2 in) and the table 120 mm (4.7 in) wide.
04
Front supports on guide rails, which slide along the bending line, and two programmable sheet followers that support the sheet through the bend. Both are on LVD's PPEB option list.
